Bookkeeping Assistant

Responsibilities include:

BOOKKEEPING SKILLS

  • Data Entry including but not limited to: vendor invoices, bank deposits, credit card receipts & capital purchases.
  • Processes including full cycle vendor bills, credit card purchases/receipts, daily deposits and uploads to the bank website
  • Reconciliations including vendor statements, credit card statements, and bank statements.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by the company Bookkeeper.

ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS

  • Create, Organize and File bookkeeping records for quick reference.
  • Scan and identify documents for paperless records compliance
  • Occasional housekeeping duties.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to all hospital directives and protocols and maintain the highest ethical, moral, and professional standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance. Practice good hygiene.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous attitude.

Minimum requirements

  • We are a drug-free workplace and require background screening for all potential employees
  • Minimum 2 years experience with a professional bookkeeper or in a business accounting office. 
  • Working knowledge of Quickbooks desktop.  Microsoft Excel experience a plus.
  • Use of office calculator by touch.
  • Knowledge of Idaho state sales and use tax requirements.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 18 years old.
  • Is well-spoken and approaches his/her job duties in a mature nature.
  • Have excellent staff communication skills.
  • Physical Effort: Work requires lifting and carrying accounting boxes (will be assisted by other staff members in lifting boxes over 40 lbs).  Sits for extended periods of time.
  • Must be detail oriented, have good work ethics and the ability to multi-task when needed.
