Kim Mulvahill CVPM

At Intermountain Pet Hospital, we’ve always believed in keeping our training and skill sets up to date. The better educated we are, the better care we can give to your furry friends.

In that spirit, IPH is proud to announce that Kim Mulvahill, our hospital administrator, recently became a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM). Less than five people in all of Idaho have this certification, which should give you an idea of the mix of passion, skill and knowledge that Kim brings to our practice.

About the CVPM

The Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) started the CVPM program in 1989. To qualify for the certification, an individual must do the following:

  1. Complete an application and pass a written exam that determine an applicant’s experience and knowledge
  2. Dedicate himself/herself to excellence in veterinary practice management through continuous education and association with other professionals
  3. Pledge to adhere to the VHMA’s Code of Ethics

A CVPM certification singles you out as an expert in the field of veterinary practice management. It gives you chances to engage with industry leaders and to access an extensive knowledge base.

About Kim

Kim has worked in veterinary care for more than 20 years. She’s a certified veterinary technician and has been the hospital administrator here at IPH since 2010. With 67 seven people at two locations, she certainly has her hands full everyday.

Nonetheless, Kim consistently makes a positive impact on our practice. She dedicates herself to improving the communication skills of her staff, enabling them to:

  • Provide the best care to your pets
  • Work better as a team
  • Strengthen the bond between IPH and the communities we serve

Kim has seen firsthand the benefits that come from owning pets. That’s why she works so hard to ensure that IPH operates as efficiently and effectively as possible.
