Client-Pet Hospitality You and your pet will be greeted by a hospitality associate. There is comfortable seating, a computer kiosk, refreshment center, photos of staff with their pets, and our Mission-Vision Statement. Our goal is to treat you like family with each visit.
Wellness Suite The Wellness Suite consists of six Wellness Exam rooms and a pharmacy, clustered around product and educational displays. Our focus is to prevent problems by Wellness exams & testing instead of Crisis Care once medical problems are advanced.
Wellness Room High Tech A Stortz otoscope is hooked for real time exam and capture of images of pets mouth and ears. Digital cameras capture pet images for their records. Images are printed on your invoice. Digital cameras are also used for dermatitis cases, corneal ulcers and other pathology.
Comfort Room Euthanasia, whelping, and consultations are handled in this room. The lights can be dimmed and there are blinds for privacy.
Oasis Between Buildings The peaceful water treatment is another ideal spot for euthanasia and client rest. The Pet Lodge feline cabins are behind the windows.
Dental Suite Dental care is provided in an ultra modern dental suite. All pets have a veterinary tech closely monitoring blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and oxygen levels while under the most advanced gas anesthesia. Dental scalers, high speed drills, and digital dental radiography is available for tooth care.
Patient Care Suite Note dental equipment, anesthetic stations, ultrasound, and wet tables. The glass window on right separates the wet tables from surgery prep station.
Surgery Suite A modern surgery suite is available complete with heated table for patient comfort, laser unit for special surgeries, a ventilator, heart monitor, and advanced gas anesthesia. Trained Veterinary Techs monitor all patients while under anesthesia.
ICU Unit The glassed partition allows visual observation of all pets as they recover. Each compartment has a heated floor. A special ICU unit with oxygen, humidity and temperature control offers an additional level of care if needed for critical cases.
Lab A full complement of lab in-house lab equipment is available.
Reproduction - Semen Freezing We do semen freezing, ovulation timing and work with special reproductive and neonatal patients. We are the only freezing center between Salt Lake and the west coast.
Scope Exam of Patients Our hospital is equipped with a variety of scopes to access the middle ear, the GI tract, the throat & lungs, the bladder, the chest and the abdomen. This less invasive equipment allows most patients to go home and resume normal activities after an exam.
Ultrasound & Digital Radiography We are able to capture images with the x-ray or ultrasound and send digital images to specialists and radiologists anywhere in the country over high speed internet. With this digital feature, we can have a second opinion often the same day for optimum pet care.
Exotic & Pocket Pet Care Drs Barton, Konsella, and Sauer provide care for pocket pets and various exotics. The technology of the hospital allows for optimum treatment for these special pets.
Behavior Counseling Some pets acquire undesirable behavior. With a comprehensive history, medical evaluation, and behavior evaluation, may cases can be treated so they are an enjoyment to the family.
Hospital Runs Run panels are laminate with benches extending over the rear drain. The floor is epoxy which is cleaned by high-pressure sprayer that delivers disinfectant and odor solutions.
Feline Patient Suite Feline condos have an outside window, piped music and ports to the adjacent condo room. There is an exam table, refrigerator, and medication cabinet in this room.
Isolation This room has 4 cages and a laminate run. There is an outside entrance available next to the room. The room is self contained with all needed items for cases.
Patient Kitchen Ref, microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer, and bathing tub are available. A Hydrosurge unit is built into the tub area along with 3-M's disinfectant dispensing system.
Medicated Bathing Treatment Area A Hydrosurge unit is built into this area along with a tub and ramp for easy access. The bathing unit is important for dermatology cases.
