We know that your pets are not just pets—they’re members of your family! With that in mind, we take a family-focused approach to your pet’s health. Our goal is to provide your pet with the best care to ensure that he or she has a long, healthy, and happy life with you and your family.

At Intermountain Pet Hospital, we firmly believe in prevention and treating your pet as a whole, not just treating symptoms that occur. Annual wellness checkups allow us to track any changes in your pet’s health and catch things before they become critical. We are fully equipped to care for a wide variety of suburban pets, and we are pleased to offer wellness packages for all stages of your pet’s life, including puppy and kitten care, adult care, and senior care.

  • Puppy & kitten care—When you bring your new pet in for puppy or kitten visits, you are getting him or her off to the right start. Proper vaccinations and thorough exams allow us to protect your pet from unnecessary diseases and prevent any congenital issues from the very beginning when they are easier to correct and treat.
  • Adult pet wellness care—We are pretty sure Benjamin Franklin must have had pet care in mind when he first said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” as there is no time when that phrase is more appropriate than when talking about your pet’s health. Our comprehensive, full-body wellness program covers all aspects of your pet’s health and allows us to keep your pet happy and healthy.
  • Senior pet wellness care—Senior pets, 7 years of age or older, have special health concerns. We are well versed in identifying and treating issues your older pet may be facing. Prevention and early detection help us make sure your pet’s golden years are comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Pet vaccinations—Many dangerous diseases are easily prevented by following a regular course of vaccinations. Visit our vaccinations page for an explanation and list of current vaccinations your pet may require.
  • Exotic and small mammal care—Exotic and small animals require different care than larger animals, and we are experienced with and sensitive to those differences. Whether you have a ferret, rabbit, or a gerbil, we are ready and willing to help keep your exotic pet healthy.
  • Bird and avian care—Not all veterinarians are educated in avian care, but we have doctors on staff who are well versed in the care of birds. Visit our bird care page to see what we offer for our feathered friends.
  • Pet health articles—There is a vast amount of information on pet health and pet care available to us. When we find something informative, we share it on our pet health articles page to help you stay as informed and aware as possible.
